In the Memorandum dated 05 April 2013, the Anti-Money Laundering Council Secretariat (AMLCS) reported to the Council that:
On 12 March 2013, the United Nations Security Council Al-Qaida Sanctions Committee, established pursuant to Resolutions 1267 (1999) and 1989 (2011), 1 deleted the name of Mamoun Darkazanli in the Al-Qaida Sanctions List. Accordingly, the asset freeze, travel ban, and arms embargo, set out in paragraph 1 2 of Security Council Resolution 2083 (2012), adopted under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations, no longer apply to him.
