CL-2010-052TO:All Banks and Non-Bank Financial Institutions   SUBJECT:AURORABANK (A Microfinance-Oriented Rural Bank), Inc. — Establishment and Commencement of its Banking Operation The Monetary Board, in its Resolution No. 1179 dated 11 September 2008, approved the establishment of a microfinance-oriented rural bank in Baler, Aurora be known as "AURORABANK (A Microfinance-Oriented Rural Bank), Inc.". The Bank was registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission on 3 December 2009. Its Certificate of Authority to Operate as a microfinance-oriented rural bank was issued by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas on 23 July 2010 and its banking operation started on 29 July 2010.For information/guidance. cEISAD (SGD.)
