The Monetary Board in its Resolution No. 1421 dated July 30, 1982, approved this codification of the rules and regulations governing banks and other financial intermediaries which shall be known and cited as:
MANUAL OF REGULATIONS FOR BANKS AND OTHER FINANCIAL INTERMEDIARIES
These codified regulations shall take effect as final authority as of August 1, 1982 and supersede all regulatory issuances in force and effect as of July 31, 1982 on subject matters covered by the codified regulations.

PREFACE
This Manual of Regulations for Banks and Other Financial Intermediaries, approved by the Monetary Board as final authority under its Resolution No. 1421 dated July 30, 1982, shall constitute the Code of Central Bank Regulations.
