SELLING OF PROPRIETARY/NON-PROPRIETARY SHARES/MEMBERSHIP CERTIFICATES/TIMESHARES BY UNAUTHORIZED/UNLICENSED PERSONS
This Advisory is prompted by the information received by the Commission that certain individuals or group of persons act as salesmen, brokers, dealers or agents of Proprietary/Non-Proprietary Shares/Membership Certificates/Timeshares without authority and license to do so.
In view thereof, the public is hereby advised to exercise prudence before investing and be vigilant when investing on Proprietary/Non-Proprietary Shares/Membership Certificates/Timeshares, and to deal only with salesmen of Brokers/Issuers of Proprietary/Non-Proprietary Shares who are authorized or licensed by the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Further, all Issuers and selling owners of Proprietary/Non-Proprietary Shares/Membership Certificates/Timeshares are hereby advised to engage only the services of salesmen and brokers duly licensed by the Commission.
The public also is encouraged to report to the Markets and Securities Regulation Department, at telephone numbers 818-7164/818-8178, any entities and/or persons acting as brokers, salesmen or agents of Proprietary/Non-Proprietary Shares/Membership Certificates/Timeshares without authority and license to do so.
