AMENDING EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 380 * DATED 2 DECEMBER 1996, "CREATING THE INDUSTRY DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL, DEFINING ITS COMPOSITION, POWERS AND FUNCTIONS
WHEREAS, the Industry Development Council was created on 2 December 1996, pursuant to Executive Order No. 380, to serve as a coordinating mechanism for the concerted and collective efforts of the government and private sectors to create a favorable business climate that will enhance the growth and expansion of our local industries;
WHEREAS, there is a need to further broaden sectoral representation in the IDC to strengthen its capabilities in addressing the development concerns of the local industries;
WHEREAS, the membership of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources in the IDC shall provide the sustainable development perspective in the promotion of competitiveness in the local industries and facilitate the resolution of environment-related concerns;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Republic of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby amend Executive Order No. 380 dated 2 December 1996, and order...
