EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 597 May 29, 1980 AMENDING EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 592 DATED MAY 3, 1980, CREATING A NATIONAL COMMITTEE TO TAKE CHARGE OF THE CELEBRATION OF PHILIPPINE INDEPENDENCE DAY ON JUNE 12, 1980 By virtue of the powers vested in me by law, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby amend Executive Order No. 592 dated May 3, 1980, by including the Commissioner on Islamic Affairs as Member of the National Committee to take charge of the celebration of Philippine Independence Day on June 12, 1980. This Order shall take effect immediately. Done in the City of Manila, this 29th day of May, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and eighty.
