Summary of Executive Order No. 210Amending the Composition of the Board of Directors of the Light Rail Transit Authority
- Sec. 3 of Executive Order No. 603 is amended to change the composition of the Board of Directors of the Light Rail Transit Authority as follows:
• The Board shall be composed of the following ex-officio members:
• Secretary of Transportation and Communications (Chairman)
• Secretary of Finance
• Secretary of Economic Planning
• Secretary of Public Works and Highways
• Secretary of Budget and Management
• Chairman of the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board
• Governor of the Metropolitan Manila Commission
• Administrator of the Authority
• One (1) representative from the private sector appointed by the President for a term of two (2) years. (Sec. 3)
• The officials next in rank or designated officials shall serve as alternate members in the absence of the regular members. (Sec. 3)
• The Chairman and each Member of the Board shall receive a monthly commutable representation allowance of ONE THOUSAND (P1,000.00) PESOS. (Sec. 3)
• The Chairman and each Member of the Board shall receive a per diem of two hundred (P200.00) pesos for every meeting attended, with a maximum of ONE THOUSAND (P1,000.00) PESOS per month. (Sec. 3)
• The Executive Order takes effect immediately. (Sec. 2)

EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 210 July 7, 1987
AMENDING EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 603, ENTITLED "CREATING A LIGHT RAIL TRANSIT AUTHORITY, VESTING THE SAME WITH AUTHORITY TO CONSTRUCT AND OPERATE THE LIGHT RAIL TRANSIT (LRT) PROJECT AND PROVIDING FUNDS THEREFOR"
WHEREAS, Executive Order No. 603 created a corporate body known as the Light Rail Transit Authority;
WHEREAS, the reorganization of the Department of Transportation and Communications under Executive Order No. 125, as amended, renders necessary changes in the composition of the Board of Directors of the Authority, an agency attached to that body;
NOW, THEREFORE, I CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, do hereby order:
Sec. 1. Section 3 of Executive Order No. 603 is hereby amended to read as follows:
"Sec. 3. Board of Directors.
