Right-of-Way Requirements for National Roads
- National roads shall have a right-of-way of not less than 20 meters. (Sec. 1)
- For roads constructed through unpatented public land, a right-of-way of at least 60 meters shall be reserved. (Sec. 1)
- For roads constructed through naturally forested areas of aesthetic or scientific value, a right-of-way of at least 120 meters shall be reserved. (Sec. 1)

Repealing Clause
- All laws, orders, issuances, rules and regulations or parts thereof inconsistent with this Executive Order are hereby repealed or modified accordingly. (Sec. 2)

Effectivity Clause
- This Executive Order shall take effect immediately. (Sec. 3)

EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 254 July 25, 1987 AMENDING EXECUTIVE ORDER NUMBERED ONE HUNDRED THIRTEEN, SERIES OF NINETEEN HUNDRED FIFTY-FIVE WHEREAS, due to the increased density of traffic volume, there is a need to amend further Executive Order No. 113, S. 1955; NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, do hereby order: Sec. 1. The last sentence of No. I, General Provisions, Executive Order No. 113, Series of 1955, as amended, is hereby further amended to read as follows: "National roads shall have a right-of-way of not less than twenty (20) meters, provided that a right-of-way of at least sixty (60) meters shall be reserved for roads constructed through unpatented public land and at least one hundred twenty (120) meters reserved through naturally forested areas of aesthetic or scientific value." Sec. 2. All laws, orders, issuances, rules and regulations or parts thereof inconsistent with this Executive Order are hereby repealed or modified accordingly. Sec. 3.
