REPUBLIC ACT No. 6123
AN ACT AMENDING REPUBLIC ACT NUMBERED THIRTY HUNDRED
(re franchise for radiotelephone system granted to C. Alcantara and Sons).Section 1. The title of Republic Act Numbered Thirty hundred is hereby amended to read as follows:
"An Act granting C. Alcantara & Sons, Inc., a temporary permit to establish, maintain and operate private fixed point-to-point, ship, or barge to shore and shore to ship or barge, and ship or launch to barge or launch or barge to ship radiotelephone stations for the transmission and reception of wireless messages to and from said stations."
Section 2. Section one of the same Act is hereby amended to read as follows:
"Sec. 1. The C. Alcantara & Sons, Inc., a one hundred per cent Filipino corporation with main office at Alsons Wood Processing Integrated Complex, Room 7, Lanang, Davao City, its successors or assigns, is hereby granted a temporary permit to establish, maintain and operate private fixed point-to-point, ship or barge to shore and shore to ship or barge,...

Amending the Title of Republic Act No. 3000
- The title of Republic Act No. 3000 is amended to read: "An Act granting C. Alcantara & Sons, Inc., a temporary permit to establish, maintain and operate private fixed point-to-point, ship, or barge to shore and shore to ship or barge, and ship or launch to barge or launch or barge to ship radiotelephone stations for the transmission and reception of wireless messages to and from said stations." (Section 1)
Granting Temporary Permit to C. Alcantara & Sons, Inc.
- C. Alcantara & Sons, Inc., a 100% Filipino corporation with main office at Alsons Wood Processing Integrated Complex, Room 7, Lanang, Davao City, is granted a temporary permit to establish, maintain and operate the following: (Section 2)
- Private fixed point-to-point radiotelephone stations
- Ship or barge to shore and shore to ship or barge radiotelephone stations
- Ship or launch to barge or launch or barge to ship radiotelephone stations
- The stations can be established in Davao City and other parts of the Philippines where the company maintains or may establish offices or establishments for its logging and sawmill business. (Section 2)
- The stations are subject to the approval of the Secretary of Public Works and Communications. (Section 2)
- The stations are for the transmission and reception of wireless messages to and from the stations, including the company's vehicles and boats. (Section 2)
Effectivity
- The Act shall take effect upon its approval, which was on August 4, 1969. (Section 3)
