REPUBLIC ACT No. 3009
AN ACT AMENDING SECTION ONE AND TWO OF REPUBLIC ACT NUMBERED ONE THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED SIXTY-EIGHT.
Section 1. Sections one and two of Republic Act Numbered One Thousand two hundred sixty-eight are hereby amended to read as follows:
"Sec. 1. The Director of Lands is hereby directed to sell to actual occupants the portions of land and all dried esteros and/or reclaimed esteros belonging to the Republic of the Philippines, situated at the northeast and southeast intersections of Quezon Boulevard and C. Lerma Street in the City of Manila: Provided, however, That all lots bordering Quezon Boulevard and C. Lerma Street shall be sold and used for commercial purposes: Provided, further, That the area of each lot to be sold to the actual occupant thereof shall not exceed two hundred square meters.
"Sec. 2. The Director of Lands shall cause the property mentioned in Section one to be sub-divided into lots corresponding to the areas actually occupied by the present occupants, giving allowance for such alleys of...

Amending Sections 1 and 2 of Republic Act No. 1268
- Directs the Director of Lands to sell portions of land and dried/reclaimed esteros (estuaries) belonging to the Republic of the Philippines, situated at the northeast and southeast intersections of Quezon Boulevard and C. Lerma Street in Manila, to actual occupants. (Section 1)
- Lots bordering Quezon Boulevard and C. Lerma Street shall be sold and used for commercial purposes. (Section 1)
- The area of each lot to be sold to the actual occupant shall not exceed 200 square meters. (Section 1)
- The Director of Lands shall subdivide the property into lots corresponding to the areas actually occupied by the present occupants, allowing for 2-meter-wide alleys for fire escape and other purposes. (Section 2)
- The cost of the survey and subdivision shall be considered part of the purchase price paid by the occupants for their respective lots. (Section 2)
- Areas in excess of 200 square meters occupied by present occupants shall be available to other actual occupants whose lots will be reduced in area by the construction of alleys, or to adjoining actual occupants occupying lots less than 200 square meters. (Section 2)
