AN ACT CONVERTING THE MUNICIPALITY OF ISABELA, PROVINCE OF BASILAN INTO A COMPONENT CITY TO BE KNOWN AS THE CITY OF ISABELA
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
ARTICLE I
GENERAL PROVISIONSSection 1. Title.- This Act shall be known as the "Charter of the City of Isabela."
Section 2. The City of Isabela. - The Municipality of Isabela shall be converted into a component city to be known as the City of Isabela, hereinafter referred to as the City, which shall comprise the present territory of the Municipality of Isabela, Province of Basilan. The territorial jurisdiction of the City shall be within the present metes and bounds of the Municipality of Isabela, as follows:
