REPUBLIC ACT No. 10828

AN ACT ESTABLISHING A REGULAR DISTRICT OFFICE OF THE LAND TRANSPORTATION OFFICE IN THE PROVINCE OF SARANGANI AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. There shall be established in the Municipality of Alabel, Province of Sarangani a Regular District Office of the Land Transportation Office (LTO).

SECTION 2. The Secretary of Transportation and Communications shall include in the Department’s program the operationalization of the Regular District Office of the LTO in the Municipality of Alabel, Province of Sarangani, the funding of which shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in two (2) newspapers of general circulation.

Summary of Republic Act No. 10828

Establishment of a Regular District Office of the Land Transportation Office (LTO) in Alabel, Sarangani Province
- A Regular District Office of the LTO shall be established in the Municipality of Alabel, Province of Sarangani. (Section 1)
- The Secretary of Transportation and Communications shall include the operationalization of the Regular District Office of the LTO in Alabel, Sarangani Province in the Department's program. (Section 2)
- The funding for the operationalization shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act. (Section 2)

Effectivity
- This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in two (2) newspapers of general circulation. (Section 3)
