Appointment of the Playground Committee for the City of Manila

EXECUTIVE ORDER No. 2

John C. Mehan, Antonio R. Roxas, the city superintendent of schools, Antonio C. Torres, Teodoro R. Yangco, and Elwood S. Brown are hereby appointed a playground committee for the city of Manila to act in an advisory capacity to the present park borad and to foster public interest in the playground movement, arrange for the training of supervisor, recommend a comprehensive plan for yearly operation, suggest the type of equipment necessary, plan as conduct play festivals, and display such other activities as may be necessary in connection with playground work. Any action and the recommendation of this committee should be presented to the Municipal Board of the city of Manila.

Establishment of a Playground Committee for the City of Manila

- John C. Mehan, Antonio R. Roxas, Antonio C. Torres, Teodoro R. Yangco, and Elwood S. Brown are appointed as members of the playground committee for the city of Manila. (Section 1)
- The committee will act in an advisory capacity to the present park board. (Section 1)
- The committee's responsibilities include:
    - Fostering public interest in the playground movement. (Section 1)
    - Arranging for the training of supervisors. (Section 1)
    - Recommending a comprehensive plan for yearly operation. (Section 1)
    - Suggesting the type of equipment necessary. (Section 1)
