- The well-being, peace and prosperity of the nation demand that its productive forces be maintained at the highest possible level. (Preamble)
- This can be accomplished if labor and capital work harmoniously together under terms and conditions satisfactory to both and consistent with public interest and welfare. (Preamble)
- The ends of democracy and free enterprise can be served best if labor and capital are allowed to compose their mutual problems, reach an understanding on their respective rights and obligations freely and voluntarily with minimal government intervention. (Preamble)
- A labor-management conference designed to lay the foundations of industrial peace will be held on July 24, 1950, to last for ten days. (Preamble)
- The period from July 24 to 29, 1950, is declared as Industrial Peace Week. (Section 1)
- All chambers of commerce, trade bodies, business organizations, industrial and business executives, duly organized labor organizations, trade unions and their leaders are called upon to send representatives to the labor-management conference beginning July 24, 1950, and give their full support and cooperation. (Section 2)
- Government offices and public officials concerned are called upon to lend all necessary assistance to ensure the success of the conference. (Section 2)

DECLARING THE PERIOD FROM JULY 24 TO 29, 1950, AS INDUSTRIAL PEACE WEEK
WHEREAS, the well-being, peace and prosperity of the nation demand that its productive forces be husbanded and maintained at the highest possible level;
Whereas, this can be accompanied only if labor and capital work harmoniusly together under terms and conditions satisfactory to both and consistent with the public interest and welfare;
WHEREAS, the ends of democracy and free enterprise can be served best if labor and capital are allowed to compose their mutual problems, reach an understanding on their respective rights and obligations freely and voluntarily and with the least government intervention; and
Whereas, a labor-management conference designed to lay the foundations of industrial peace will be held on July 24, 1950, to last for ten days;
