EXCLUDING FROM THE OPERATION OF PROCLAMATION NO. 31, DATED JULY 31, 1917, AND OPENING TO DISPOSITION UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF COMMONWEALTH ACT NUMBERED ONE HUNDRED AND THIRTY-SEVEN A PARCEL OF LAND SITUATED IN THE BARRIO OF BURDEOS, MUNICIPALITY OF POLILLO, ISLAND OF POLILLO, PROVINCE OF TAYABAS, ISLAND OF LUZON.
Whereas, a petition has been filed for the release of certain mining claims located in the barrio of Burdeos, municipality of Polillo, island of Polillo, Province of Tayabas, Island of Luzon, from the Polillo Forest Reserve established under Proclamation Numbered Thirty-one, dated July thirty-first, nineteen hundred and seventeen;
Whereas, according to the findings of the Director of Mines and the Director of Forestry, concurred in by the Secretary of Agriculture and Commerce, the land embraced in the said mining claims now included within the Polillo Forest Reserve appears to be mineralized; and

Exclusion of Land from Polillo Forest Reserve
- Excludes a parcel of land situated in Barrio Burdeos, Municipality of Polillo, Island of Polillo, Province of Tayabas, from the operation of Proclamation No. 31 dated July 31, 1917, which established the Polillo Forest Reserve. (Section 1)
- The land is found to be more valuable for its mineral contents than for the purpose of the forest reserve, as determined by the Directors of Mines and Forestry, and concurred by the Secretary of Agriculture and Commerce. (Whereas clause)
Description of the Excluded Land
- The excluded land is described on plan No. C1-29, with the following details: (Section 1)
- Beginning point marked "1" on the plan, with specific coordinates provided.
- Boundaries: North, East, South, and West by the Polillo Forest Reserve.
- Area: 1,200.00 hectares.
- Boundary points marked by cylindrical concrete monuments.
- Bearings: true. Declination: 0° 36' E.
- Date of Survey: Jan. 28-April 5, 1939, by Andres Sionil.
Conditions for Exclusion
- The cutting, removal, and disposal of timber and other forest products shall be under the supervision and control of the Bureau of Forestry. (Section 2)
- If the land is abandoned for mining purposes, it shall revert to being part of the Polillo Forest Reserve. (Section 2)
Effectivity
- This proclamation shall not take effect until it is concurred in by a resolution of the National Assembly duly adopted for the purpose. (Section 3)
