- Lot No. 5 of 7,800 hectares, situated in the municipality of Burgos.
- Lot No. 8 of 1,337.5 hectares, situated in the municipality of Pasuquin.
- Lot No. 15 of 15,600 hectares, situated in the municipality of Piddig.
Legal Basis
- The exclusion and declaration of the parcels as timber lands are based on the recommendation of the Director of Forestry, approved by the Secretary of Agriculture and Natural Resources.
- The President of the Philippines has the power vested by law to make such exclusions and declarations.
Technical Description
- The excluded parcels are technically described in Bureau of Forestry map No. F.R. 85 of the Northern Ilocos Norte Forest Reserve.

Proclamation No. 272
EXCLUDING FROM THE OPERATION OF PROCLAMATION NO. 338, DATED OCTOBER 24, 1938, PARCELS OF LANDS SITUATED IN THE MUNICIPALITIES OF BURGOS, PASUQUIN, AND PID-DIG, PROVINCE OF ILOCOS NORTE, PHILIPPINES, AND DECLARING SAME AS TIMBER LAND.
WHEREAS, certain parts of the Northern Ilocos Norte Forest Reserve established under Proclamation Numbered three hundred and thirty-eight, dated October twenty-four, Nineteen hundred and thirty-eight, are found suitable for other purposes:
NOW, THEREFORE, upon the recommendation of the Director of Forestry, approved by the Secretary of Agriculture and Natural Resources, I, Elpidio Quirino, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the power vested in me by law, do hereby exclude from the operation of Proclamation Numbered Three hundred and thirty-eight and declare as timber lands, subject to the forest law and forest regulations, the following lots: Number four of eight hundred and fifty hectares, and number five of seven thousand and eight hundred hectares, situated in the municipality of Burgos; Number eight of one thousand three hundred thirty-seven and one-half...
