EXCLUDING FROM THE OPERATION OF PROCLAMATION NO. 360, DATED DECEMBER 24, 1938, THE ALLOTMENT OF CERTAIN FREQUENCY TO THE UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATIONS AND DECLARING THE SAME CANCELLED.
It appearing that frequency 15,700 Kcs. (19.10 m) granted to the United Press Associations by Proclamation Numbered Three hundred sixty, dated December twenty-fourth, nineteen hundred and thirty-eight, has already been assigned to the Press Wireless, Incorporated, now licensed by the United States to operate stations at Hicksville, New York, and Daly City, California, and that the operation of this frequency in the Philippines will cause serious interference in the transmission of wireless messages to the Orient;
Now, therefore, I, Manuel L. Quezon, President of the Philippines, upon the recommendation of the Director of Posts, and pursuant to the provisions of section six of Commonwealth Act Numbered three hundred eighty-seven, do hereby amend Proclamation Numbered Three hundred sixty, dated December twenty-fourth, nineteen hundred and thirty-eight, by excluding from its operation the allotment of frequency 15,700 Kcs. (19.10 m),...
