Increasing the Bed Capacity of the Martin Marasigan Memorial Hospital in the Municipality of Cuenca, Province of Batangas from 25 to 80 Beds

Increase in Bed Capacity of Martin Marasigan Memorial Hospital
- The authorized bed capacity of the Martin Marasigan Memorial Hospital (MMMH) in Cuenca, Batangas is increased from twenty-five (25) to eighty (80) beds. (Section 1)
- Any future increase in bed capacity shall be consistent with the hospital development plan prepared by the Chief of Hospital of the MMMH. (Section 1)

Upgrading of Professional Health Care Services and Facilities
- The existing professional health care services and facilities of the MMMH shall be upgraded to conform with and be commensurate to the bed capacity increase. (Section 2)

Increase in Workforce
- The existing workforce of the MMMH, including doctors, nurses, and support personnel, shall be increased correspondingly. (Section 3)

Funding
- The Provincial Government of Batangas shall provide the necessary funds to support the increase in bed capacity, upgrading of facilities and services. (Section 4)
- The Secretary of the Department of Health shall include in the Department's subsidy program its support for the capital outlay requirements of the hospital. (Section 5)

Separability Clause
- If any provision or part of this Act is declared unconstitutional, the remaining parts or provisions not affected shall remain in full force and effect. (Section 6)

Repealing Clause
- All laws, executive orders, issuances, rules and regulations inconsistent with this Act are hereby repealed or modified accordingly. (Section 7)

Effectivity
- This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette or in a newspaper of general circulation. (Section 8)
