MODIFYING THE RATES OF IMPORT DUTIES AND CLASSIFICATIONS AND IMPOSING ALTERNATIVE RATES ON CERTAIN ARTICLES UNDER SECTION 104 OF THE TARIFF AND CUSTOMS CODE OF 1978, AS AMENDED
Pursuant to the powers vested in me under Section 401 of the Tariff and Customs Code of 1978, as amended, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, do hereby order:
Sec. 1. The rates of import duties and classifications of the following articles under Section 104 of the Tariff and Customs Code of 1978, as amended, are hereby modified as follows:

Modifying the Rates of Import Duties and Classifications and Imposing Alternative Rates on Certain Articles under Section 104 of the Tariff and Customs Code of 1978, as Amended
- Modifies the rates of import duties and classifications of certain articles under Section 104 of the Tariff and Customs Code of 1978, as amended. (Section 1)
- Lists the tariff headings, H.S. codes, descriptions, and new rates of duty in percentage ad valorem or in pesos for various products such as vegetable materials, coke, petroleum oils, acyclic alcohols, polycarboxylic acids, heterocyclic compounds, fertilizers, synthetic rubber, wood, synthetic filament yarn, artificial staple fibres, textile products, pig iron, ferrous waste, semi-finished steel products, stranded wire, diesel engines, automatic data processing machines, magnetic media, chassis for motor vehicles, fishing vessels, yachts, vessels, floating structures, and electricity meters.
- Imposes specific rates of duty as alternative rates to the existing ad valorem rates on certain articles listed in Annex "A". The applicable rate shall be either the specific or ad valorem rate, whichever is higher. (Section 2)
- Revokes or modifies all orders, issuances, rules, and regulations inconsistent with this Executive Order. (Section 3)
- After 30 days from the issuance of this Executive Order, all the articles mentioned in Section 1 and Annex "A" entered or withdrawn from warehouses in the Philippines for consumption shall be subject to the prescribed rates of duty. (Section 4)AIC Grande Tower Garnet Road
