EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 763 October 31, 2008

PLACING THE OFFICE ON MUSLIM AFFAIRS UNDER THE OVERSIGHT OF THE OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT

I, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, President of the Republic of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby order:

SECTION 1. The Office of Muslim Affairs is placed under the oversight of the Office of the President.

SECTION 2. Executive Order No. 697, dated 18 January 2008, is hereby repealed. All other issuances, rules and regulations or parts thereof which are inconsistent with this Executive Order are hereby repealed or modified accordingly.

SECTION 3. This Executive Order shall take effect immediately..

Summary of Executive Order No. 763

Oversight of the Office on Muslim Affairs
- The Office on Muslim Affairs is placed under the oversight of the Office of the President. (Section 1)
- Executive Order No. 697, dated January 18, 2008, is repealed. (Section 2)
- All other issuances, rules, and regulations inconsistent with this Executive Order are repealed or modified accordingly. (Section 2)
- This Executive Order takes effect immediately. (Section 3)
