This refers to your undated letter requesting for tax exemption pursuant to Section 4 (3), Article XIV of the 1987 Philippine Constitution.
It is represented that Northern Quezon Cooperative College, with Taxpayers Identification No. 274-507-891-000, is a non-stock, non-profit corporation duly organized under the laws of the Philippines; that it is registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission under SEC Registration No. ANO93-003421 dated August 4, 1993; that it is recognized by the government and permitted by the Commission on Higher Education to operate as an educational institution; and that the purposes for which it was incorporated are the following:
1. To provide the children of the members and of the community quality education founded on a strong faith in God unified by common values and ideals of self-reliance, solidarity, justice and democracy;
2. To provide and alternative college education for the students and parents who could not afford the cost of education in Manila and other cities; and
