This refers to your letter dated April 21, 2009 requesting for exemption from the payment of income tax and the filing of the corresponding income tax return under Section 30 of the Tax Code of 1997.
Documents submitted to this Office disclosed that the Grace School of Antipolo, Inc. is a non-stock, non-profit corporation duly registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission under SEC Registration No. 00117 dated January 12, 1996; and that the purpose(s) for which the corporation was formed is to —
1. To equip the children with sufficient knowledge in academic and non-academic subjects and in practical and daily living skills that they may be better prepared to face the challenges of the higher level of education;
