This refers to your letter dated May 13, 2009 requesting for tax exemption pursuant to Section 4 (3), Article XIV of the 1987 Philippine Constitution.
It is represented that Agapeland Christian Academy, with Taxpayer's Identification No. 004-652-540-000, is a non-stock, non-profit corporation duly organized under the laws of the Philippines; that it is registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission under SEC Registration No. ANO94-003647 dated November 10, 2008; that it is recognized by the government and permitted by the Department of Education, Culture and Sports to operate as an educational institution; and that the purposes for which it was incorporated are the following:
1. To provide a wholesome education to the pre-school, elementary and high school children in the community;
2. To give the children the highest opportunity to develop mentally, physically, spiritually, emotionally and intellectually through varied learning experiences and instructional materials provide for by the school.
