An Act Creating Additional Judicial Branches in Cebu Province

- Amends Section 14, paragraph (h) of Batas Pambansa Blg. 129 (Judiciary Reorganization Act of 1980) to increase the number of Regional Trial Court (RTC) branches in the 7th Judicial Region (Section 1):
    - Increases the total number of RTC branches in the 7th Judicial Region to 66.
    - Establishes 37 RTC branches for the Province of Cebu and the cities of Cebu, Danao, Talisay, Lapu-Lapu, Mandaue, and Toledo, with seats in Cebu City, Danao City, Talisay City, Argao, Lapu-Lapu City, Barili, Bogo, and Oslob.

- Amends Section 29 of Batas Pambansa Blg. 129 to increase the number of Municipal Trial Courts in Cities (MTCCs) in Talisay City, Cebu (Section 2):
    - Establishes two MTCC branches in Talisay City.

- Mandates the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, in coordination with the Secretary of the Department of Justice, to immediately operationalize the two additional RTC branches and one additional MTCC branch in Talisay City, Cebu (Section 2).
    - Funding for these new branches shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

- Provides for the immediate effectivity of the Act upon its approval (Section 3).
