REPUBLIC ACT No. 10530 AN ACT DEFINING THE USE AND PROTECTION OF THE RED CROSS, RED CRESCENT, AND RED CRYSTAL EMBLEMS, PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATIONS THEREOF AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled: PART 1INTRODUCTORY PROVISIONS Section 1. Short Title. – This Act shall be known as "The Red Cross and Other Emblems Act of 2013″. Section 2. Declaration of Principles and State Policies. – (a) The Philippines renounces war as an instrument of national policy, adopts the generally accepted principles of international law as part of the law of the land and adheres to a policy of peace, justice, freedom, cooperation and amity with all nations.
