- The burial assistance of Twenty Thousand Pesos (P20,000.00) shall be given to the person who defrayed the expenses for the funeral of a deceased veteran, upon application in due form filed within two (2) years from the death of the veteran concerned. (Basis: Section 1)
- The burial assistance shall not be given if the person who defrayed the expenses is entitled to a similar benefit from the United States Government. (Basis: Section 1)

Appropriations
- The amount necessary for the initial implementation of this Act shall be charged against the current year's appropriations for burial expenses of the Philippine Veterans Affairs Office (PVAO). (Basis: Section 2)
- Thereafter, the amount necessary for the continued implementation shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act. (Basis: Section 2)

Effectivity
- This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette or in two (2) national newspapers of general circulation. (Basis: Section 3)
