Integration of Bicol University - Gubat Extension Campus
- Section 1: The Bicol University - Gubat Extension Campus in Gubat, Sorsogon is integrated as a regular branch of Bicol University in Legaspi City, Albay. • It shall be known as the Bicol University - Gubat Campus.

Objectives
- Section 2: The Bicol University - Gubat Campus shall:
• Provide quality and affordable higher education.
• Develop and provide relevant technology and academic programs to hasten socioeconomic development of Sorsogon.

Curricular Offerings
- Section 3: The Bicol University - Gubat Campus shall continue offering the following courses:
• Bachelor of Elementary Education
• Bachelor of Secondary Education
• BS in Computer Science
• BS in Food Technology
• Diploma in Agricultural Technology
• It shall also offer courses in forestry, fishery, and other relevant courses as deemed necessary by the Board of Regents to meet the needs of Sorsogon.

Administration
- Section 4: The administration shall be vested in the Board of Regents of Bicol University, in accordance with Republic Act No. 5521 ("Charter of the Bicol University").
• The Board shall have full authority to determine the organizational structure, academic, research and extension programs, qualifications and number of academic personnel, enrollment, and other matters related to administration and operation.

Campus Site
- Section 5: The Municipality of Gubat, Sorsogon shall identify the proposed campus site to be incorporated as the Bicol University - Gubat Campus.
• The land shall be titled under the name "Bicol University".
• If Bicol University ceases to exist or the land is no longer needed, it shall revert to the Municipality of Gubat.

Implementation
- Section 6: The Board of Bicol University is authorized to formulate rules, regulations, and guidelines to implement this Act, not later than the opening of the next school year following approval.

Reporting
- Section 7: Within 3 months after integration, the Board shall file a detailed report with the Office of the President, Commission on Higher Education, and both Houses of Congress on actions taken pursuant to this Act.

Appropriations
- Section 8: The initial implementation cost shall be charged against the current year's funding provided by Gubat Municipality.
• Gubat Municipality shall continue providing assistance corresponding to the funding given to the BU - Gubat Extension program until the funding requirement is included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

Separability Clause
- Section 9: If any part of this Act is declared invalid or unconstitutional, the remaining parts shall remain in full force and effect.

Repealing Clause
- Section 10: All laws, presidential decrees, executive orders, rules and regulations, and other issuances contrary to or inconsistent with this Act are repealed or modified accordingly.

Effectivity Clause
- Section 11: This Act shall take effect 15 days after publication in two newspapers of general circulation.
