AN ACT UPGRADING THE ALBAY SUBDISTRICT ENGINEERING OFFICE INTO A REGULAR DISTRICT ENGINEERING

Upgrading the Albay Subdistrict Engineering Office
- The Albay Subdistrict Engineering Office is upgraded into a regular district engineering office. (Section 1)
- It shall be known as the Albay Second District Engineering Office and shall be located in the Municipality of Polangui, Province of Albay. (Section 1)
- The existing engineering district office located at the airport site, Legaspi City shall be known as the Albay First District Engineering Office. (Section 1)

Jurisdiction and Coverage
- The Albay Second District Engineering Office shall assume jurisdiction over infrastructure and public works in all the barangays, municipalities, and cities of the Third Congressional District of Albay. (Section 2)
- The Albay First District Engineering Office shall assume jurisdiction over infrastructure and public works in all the barangays, municipalities, and cities of the First and Second Congressional Districts of Albay. (Section 2)

Funding and Implementation
- The Secretary of the Department of Public Works and Highways shall include the funding requirements for the operationalization of the Albay Second District Engineering Office in its program in the year following the enactment of this law and thereafter. (Section 3)
- This Act shall take effect immediately upon its approval. (Section 4)
