Summary of Presidential Decree No. 1320Creation of Barangay BF Homes
- Section 1: The subdivisions of BF Homes Parañaque, Teoville, Goodwill Phase II, Iren-ville, Sta. Rita Village, and Jackielou in Barangay San Dionisio, Parañaque, Metro Manila, are detached and separated to form the new and independent Barangay BF Homes.
- The legal existence of the mother barangay, Barangay San Dionisio, is not affected.
Applicability of Laws
- Section 2: Except as provided in the decree, all laws applicable to regular barangays shall apply to Barangay BF Homes.
Transition of Barangay Officials
- Section 3: The current elected barangay officials of Barangay San Dionisio shall continue their duties in the newly created Barangay BF Homes until new officials are appointed by the President.
- The appointed officials shall hold office until their successors are elected in the next regular barangay elections and have qualified, unless removed earlier by the President.
- Necessary appointive officers and employees shall be appointed as provided by existing laws to organize or complete the government personnel of Barangay BF Homes.
Transfer of Assets and Liabilities
- Section 4: Upon the decree's effectivity, the proportionate share of Barangay BF Homes in the obligations, funds, assets, and other property of Barangay San Dionisio shall be transferred by the President to the newly created barangay upon the recommendation of the Commission on Audit.
Repealing Clause
- Section 5: All laws, executive orders, or regulations inconsistent with this decree are repealed or modified accordingly.
Effectivity
- Section 6: This decree shall take effect immediately.

PRESIDENTIAL DECREE No. 1320
CREATING BARANGAY BF HOMES IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF PARAÑAQUE, METRO MANILA
WHEREAS, the fundamental aim of the State is to hasten up the pace of socio-economic development throughout the country;
WHEREAS, the effective implementation of the declared programs of the government on development hinges primarily on the administrative efficiency of each and every local government units;
WHEREAS, it has been the clamor of the residents of the proposed barangay with the conformity of the elective officials of the locality to create the new barangay so as to achieve a closer supervision of the execution of the development programs of the locality;
WHEREAS, the creation of the proposed barangay will redound and contribute greatly to the upliftment of the socio-economic well-being of the residents therein;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers in me vested by the Constitution, do hereby order and decree, as part of the land, the following:
