Declaring the Second Week of December of Every Year As National Pharmacy Week

MALACAÑANGManila BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES Proclamation No. 219 DECLARING THE SECOND WEEK OF DECEMBER OF EVERY YEAR AS NATIONAL PHARMACY WEEK WHEREAS, pharmacy plays an important role in safeguarding and promoting the health of the nation; and WHEREAS, to make that role more effective, it is necessary that the people familiarize themselves with the scientific use of pharmaceutical preparations; NOW, THEREFORE, I, Elpidio Quirino, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare the second week of December of every year as National Pharmacy Week. IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
