Compliance
- Employers and the public were enjoined to give effect to the purpose and intent of the Proclamation and Commonwealth Act No. 91.
Exception
- For astronomy and meteorology purposes, the mean astronomical time at 120 degrees East longitude, Greenwich Meridian, may be used as before.

ESTABLISHING THE DAYLIGHT-SAVING TIME FOR THE PHILIPPINES
Pursuant to the authority vested in me by Commonwealth Act Numbered Ninety-one and in order that employees and laborers may be afforded sunlight for recreation purposes and, likewise, to effect savings in the use of light both to the Government and to the general public, I, Manuel L. Quezon, President of the Philippines, hereby proclaim daylight-saving time for the Philippines between November first, nineteen hundred and thirty-six, and January thirty-first, nineteen hundred and thirty-seven, and order that at twelve oclock midnight on October thirty-first, nineteen hundred and thirty-six, the standard time of the Philippines fixed in the aforesaid Act shall be advanced one hour, and at twelve oclock midnight on October thirty-first, nineteen hundred and thirty-six, the standard time of the Philippines fixed in the aforesaid Act shall be advanced one hour, and at twelve oclock midnight on January thirty-first, nineteen hundred and thirty-seven, the time so fixed, as above stated, shall be retarded one hour so...
