EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 375 February 15, 1972
ESTABLISHING THE POLLUTION RESEARCH CENTER OF THE PHILIPPINES
WHEREAS, environmental pollution and contamination are increasing at an alarming rate with industrialization and mechanization; and
WHEREAS, the existing government machinery on anti-pollution in inadequate to cope with the problem.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby establish a Pollution Research Center at Fort Bonifacio.
The Center shall be manned by representatives of the Pollution Commission, the National Science Development Board, the Department of Agriculture and Natural Resources, the Department of Public Works and Communications, the Department of Health and such representatives of other appropriate government agencies or of the private sectors as the President may designate.
The Center may call upon any department, bureau, office, agency or instrumentality of the government for such assistance as it may need in the form of personnel, facilities and other resources.
This accordingly amends Executive Order No. 342, series of 1971, regarding this same matter.
