Increasing Bed Capacity of Quirino Memorial Medical Center
- The bed capacity of Quirino Memorial Medical Center (QMMC) in Quezon City is increased from 500 beds to 1,000 beds. (Section 1)
- The Secretary of the Department of Health (DOH) shall implement the increase based on a hospital development plan prepared by the QMMC Chief. (Section 1)

Upgrading Professional Health Care Services and Facilities
- The existing professional health care services and facilities of QMMC shall be upgraded to conform with the increased bed capacity, consistent with the hospital development plan. (Section 2)

Increasing Medical Personnel
- The existing workforce of QMMC shall be increased correspondingly, consistent with the hospital development plan. (Section 3)
- The DOH Secretary, in coordination with the DBM Secretary and CSC Chairperson, and after consultation with the QMMC Chief, shall determine the additional positions to be created and filled up. (Section 3)

Funding and Implementation
- The DOH Secretary shall include the implementation of this Act in the DOH program, with funding included in the annual General Appropriations Act. (Section 4)

Separability Clause
- If any provision is declared unconstitutional, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. (Section 5)

Repealing Clause
- All laws, decrees, issuances, rules and regulations inconsistent with this Act are hereby repealed or modified accordingly. (Section 6)

Effectivity
- This Act shall take effect 15 days after its publication in the Official Gazette or a newspaper of general circulation. (Section 7)
