NAMING THE BRIDGE ACROSS THE ABRA RIVER LINKING THE MUNICIPALITIES OF TAYUM AND DOLORES, ABRA, AS "DON MARIANO MARCOS BRIDGE"
WHEREAS, the Provincial Board and the Mayor's League of Abra in a meeting held on February 8, 1974, adopted a resolution, the full text of which follows:
"WHEREAS, the bridge that is being built across the Abra River at Barrio Bumageat, Tayum and Barrio Mudiit, Dolores is about to be completed;
"WHEREAS, this bridge, one of the longest in the Philippines, is a vital link in the Abra-Kalinga-Cagayan Valley national highway;
"WHEREAS, this bridge plays an important role in the promotion of trade and commerce between Kalinga-Apayao and the Cagayan Valley on one hand and the Ilocos provinces on the other;
