Upgrading of Orani District Hospital

Increase in Bed Capacity
- The authorized bed capacity is increased from 50 to 200 beds. (Section 1)
- Any future increase in bed capacity shall be based on a hospital development plan prepared by the Chief of Hospital and submitted to the Department of Health (DOH). (Section 1)

Upgrading of Health Care Services and Facilities
- The existing professional health care services and facilities shall be upgraded to conform with the increased bed capacity. (Section 2)
- The number of personnel shall be correspondingly increased. (Section 2)

Funding and Support
- The Provincial Government of Bataan shall provide funds for maintenance and operating expenses. (Section 3)
- The Provincial Government of Bataan shall appropriate funds for the human resource complement to support the increased bed capacity and upgraded facilities and services. (Section 3)
- The DOH Secretary shall include support for the capital outlay requirements of the hospital in the Department's subsidy program. (Section 3)

Repealing Clause
- All laws, decrees, executive orders, rules and regulations inconsistent with this Act are repealed, amended, or modified accordingly. (Section 4)

Effectivity
- This Act shall take effect 15 days after its publication in the Official Gazette or a newspaper of general circulation. (Section 5)
