Donn Marie Isabelle M. Balina (Ching) served as a student intern in Digest's Writing department from September to December 2022 while studying law at Ateneo Law School. She holds an AB Literature (English) degree from Ateneo de Manila University (2014-2018).
Her diverse work experience includes freelance writing for Soar.sh, legal internships at Abo and Peñaranda Law and SGV & Co., research assistance for Dr. George Carmona, and internships at Hinge Inquirer Publications (Preen.ph) and WhenInManila.com. Ching is an experienced writer and proficient reader.
She will fight travel sickness and turbulence to get through a thrilling mystery novel. In her travels and adventures, she looks for good food and a new vinyl to add to her collection
