TO :All Supervising Authorities, Covered Persons under Republic Act (RA) No. 9160, as Amended, and the General Public
SUBJECT : Anti-Money Laundering Council (AMLC) and AMLC Secretariat Forms of Issuances per AMLC Resolution No. 88, Series of 2017

In Resolution No. 88, series of 2017, the AMLC approved, on 11 October 2017, the AMLC and AMLC Secretariat Forms of Issuances. Resolution No. 88 provided the classification of forms of issuances as follows:

1. AMLC Regulatory Issuance (ARI): classified as ARI (A) for businesses and entities under the supervision of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP), the Insurance Commission (IC) and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC); ARI (B) for designated non-financial businesses and professions; and ARI (C) for casinos;

2. AMLC Procedural Issuance (API);

3. Non-Regulatory Public Issuance (NORPI), classified into AMLC Guidance (AGUID); AMLC Primers (APFAQ); and AMLC Letter (AMLET);

4. AMLC Directive (ADI); and

5. AMLCS Office Order.

Adoption of said classification of forms of issuances was intended to systematize and formalize the issuances of both the AMLC and the AMLC Secretariat...
