CL-2019-011TO:All BSP-Supervised Financial Institutions   SUBJECT: Bank of Taiwan-Manila Representative Office — Establishment and Commencement of Operations The Monetary Board, in its Resolution No. 359 dated 1 March 2018, granted authority to the Bank of Taiwan to open a representative office in the Philippines to be known as "Bank of Taiwan-Manila Representative Office."As a liaison office of the Bank of Taiwan which deals directly with the public, its function shall be limited to promoting and providing information about the services/products offered by Bank of Taiwan and shall not include those of its affiliates.The Bank of Taiwan-Manila Representative Office was registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission on 18 September 2018. The corresponding Certificate of Authority to Operate as a representative office was issued by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas on 27 September 2018.
