August 4, 2020SEC NOTICETO : Capital Market Institutions, Participants and Employees   RE: Capital Market Operations and Use of RapidPass under the Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine With the announcement that Metro Manila and certain parts of Region IV-A will be placed under Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine ("MECQ") from 3-18 August 2020, the Commission resolves to clarify matters pertaining to the operations of capital market participants. Recall that under the Omnibus Guidelines on the Implementation of Community Quarantine in the Philippines, 1 capital market participants are allowed to implement skeleton workforce arrangement in their offices. 2 Employees of capital market participants can present either their company IDs or RapidPass QR Codes at checkpoints. The QR Code will be honored in checkpoints within Metro Manila.The Commission advises capital market participants to have their company IDs at all times in case law enforcement authorities at the checkpoints ask for any verification.
