The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas authorized the change of corporate name of First State Rural Bank, Inc. to "First State Bank, Inc., A Rural Bank" on 19 September 2018. The Securities and Exchange Commission approved the Amended Articles of Incorporation and Amended By-Laws of the Bank bearing its new corporate name on 21 January 2019. aScITE
