LA-0129-13TO:The Investing Public   SUBJECT:Manulife Financial Corporation  Additional Listing The Exchange approved on June 24, 2009 and September 15, 2010, subject to actual issuance, the listing application of MANULIFE FINANCIAL CORPORATION ("MFC" or the "Company") to list additional 20,000,000 common shares and 50,000,000 common shares, respectively, pursuant to the Company's Amended and Restated Dividend Reinvestment and Share Purchase Plan (the "Plan") at the applicable purchase price per common share as defined in the Plan. Further, the Exchange approved on September 26, 2012, an additional 65,000,000 common shares pursuant to the abovementioned Plan. This brings the number of common shares approved for listing to a total of 135,000,000 common shares under the Company's Plan.In this regard, the Company advised the Exchange, in a letter received on March 28, 2013, that a total of 5,100,221 common shares of MFC were issued on March 19, 2013 pursuant to the Plan.In view thereof, the listing of the additional 5,100,221 common shares of the Company is set for Tuesday, April 2, 2013. 1 The aggregate number...
