CL-2020-015TO:All BSP-Supervised Financial Institutions   SUBJECT:Merger of Metropolitan Bank & Trust Corporation (MBTC) and Metrobank Card Corporation (A Finance Company and General Insurance Agency) [MCC] The Securities and Exchange Commission approved on 03 January 2020 the Articles and Plan of Merger executed on 26 April 2019 and 23 August 2019, respectively, by and between MBTC, the surviving corporation, and MCC, the absorbed corporation, whereby the entire assets and liabilities of MCC will be transferred to and absorbed by MBTC.
