February 6, 1996SEC-IRD * MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 02-96RE : Publication of Annual Financial Condition of Pre Need Plans IssuersAll Pre-Need Plan Issuers are mandated to publish their annual statement of condition together with the trust fund balance sheet, 120 days after the end of the fiscal/calendar year. llcdSuch Statement of Condition shall be published once a year in a newspaper of general circulation in the City/Province where the pre-need company has its head office. Initial publication shall cover pre-need companies with calendar years ending December 31, 1995.The statement of condition shall be signed by the President and Finance Officer of the company certifying that said statement has been audited by an independent auditor.A copy of such statement as published, together with the publisher's certificate, shall be submitted to the Investment and Research Department of the Commission 10 days after said publication. cdtaiFor strict compliance. (SGD.)
