April 12, 1976RULES FOR TRADING ON DOLLAR BOARDIn, line with the desire of the President of the Philippines of attracting foreign investors through stock exchanges. and to provide liquidity therefor, the Securities and Exchange. Commission, pursuant to the powers vested in it under existing laws, hereby promulgates the following rules: cdphil1. All stock exchanges duly registered and authorized to operate as such in the Philippines are required to set up and maintain in their trading floors, in addition to their existing trading boards, a board to be known as the DOLLAR BOARD.2. Quotations in the said Dollar Board shall be in US$. Payment of purchases and sales therein shall likewise be in US currency in accordance with existing pertinent CB rules and/or circulars.3. Transaction on the Dollar Board shall be effected in accordance with existing trading rules and procedures, except as provided herein.
