In light of the government's efforts to undertake appropriate efforts to eliminate the COVID-19 threat under Proclamation No. 922 dated 8 March 2020, the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) issued SEC Memorandum Circular No. 7, Series of 2020 to provide preventive measures against COVID-19 in the handling of records at the SEC.
The memorandum circular presents the option for the transacting public to request for corporate documents through the SEC Express System (www.secexpress.ph) to promote social distancing.
However, to provide further protection to our frontline service personnel undue COVID-19 exposure, please be informed that the Commission will likewise temporarily stop accepting requests for documents through online application and the call center facility under the SEC Express System during the Enhanced Community Quarantine.
Orders for authenticated and plain copies of corporate documents shall be processed and delivered once the state of public health emergency has been lifted or until further notice.
