Further to Circular for Brokers No. 599-2000 dated March 9, 2000, Union Cement Corporation ("UCC") furnished the Exchange a copy of its SEC Form 34-C (Definitive Information Statement), including the Audited Financial Statements of Bacnotan Cement Corporation, Davao Union Cement Corporation, and Hi Cement Corporation, in connection with its Annual Stockholders' Meeting which will be held on April 10, 2000, at 4:00 p.m., at the SGV Conference Hall, AIM Conference Center Manila (formerly ACCEED), Benavidez corner Trasierra Sts., Legaspi Village, Makati City.
As previously announced, stockholders of record as of March 10, 2000 are entitled to notice of, and to vote at. said meeting.
