The public is hereby warned concerning the alleged investment taking activities of WAHANA CREDIT AND LOAN CORPORATION/WAHANA MULTI PURPOSE BANK, with office located at No. 467 Alabang-Zapote Road, RR Gonzales Commercial Building, Las Piñas City.
WAHANA CREDIT AND LOAN CORPORATION/WAHANA MULTI PURPOSE BANK are not SEC-registered entities and were not issued Certificates of Authority to Operate as Lending and/or Financing Companies.
Information that reached this Commission disclosed that said entities, with alleged business of lending money to casino players, are soliciting investments from the public with a promise of return as high as 12% weekly interest or 48% monthly interest.
For the information of the public, WAHANA CREDIT AND LOAN CORPORATION/WAHANA MULTI PURPOSE BANK are not authorized to solicit investments from the public as they have no necessary permit from this Commission as required under Section 8 of the Securities Regulation Code (SRC).
