April 23, 1976POLICY INSTRUCTIONS NO. 05-76TO:All Concerned SUBJECT:13th-Month Bonus for Multiple Employers By virtue of the authority vested in me by law, the following policy instructions in relation to PD 851 and of the Rules and Regulations implementing the same are hereby promulgated.1. Government Employee Working Part-time in a Private Firm Including Private Educational InstitutionsA government employee shall be entitled to receive the 13th-month pay, if his monthly salary is not more than a thousand (P1,000) pesos from such private employment.2. Multiple EmployersA person working in two or more firms earning aggregately less than one thousand (P1,000) pesos a month from his employers, shall be entitled to the 13th-month pay from each of his employers. When the sum of total of his earnings from all of his employers is more than one thousand (P1,000) pesos, he shall not be entitled to said benefit. cdt3. Social AmeliorationThe Social Amelioration of the sugar industry workers is distinct from the 13th-month bonus and is not its equivalent. The said workers are therefore entitled to both.
