2010POEA MARKET UPDATE NO. 07-10$50 MILLION CONTRACT AWARDED TO SUPPORT GUAM BUILD-UPA $50 million firm-fixed architect-engineer services contract was awarded by the Naval Facilities Engineering Command Pacific (NAVPAC) to AHL Setiadi Gushiken Joint Venture LLC of Honolulu, Hawaii on January 11, 2010. The contract is for the preparation of project engineering documentation, preliminary and final plans and specifications, Request for Proposals contract documents, technical reports, construction cost estimates and consultation, and geotechnical investigations and studies for Navy and Marine Corps projects in support of the Defense Policy Review Initiative (DPRI) in the NAVPAC Pacific area of responsibility. This is the first DPRI project using Japanese government funds.DPRI Government of Japan funded projects (otherwise referred to as Mamizu funds) will involve new construction, repair and alteration of base development facilities. The primary project location for work on this contract is in Guam in support of the relocation of Marines from Okinawa. The two design task orders for the Naval Base Guam projects issued under the contract are Task Order 0001, which included $1,678,800.00 for a waterfront...
