November 26, 2010DOLE ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 441-10ADOPTION OF THE DOLE DATA DISSEMINATION AND DISCLOSURE POLICYThe Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) recognizes the right of the people to information on matters of public concern. Access to official records, and to documents and papers pertaining to official acts, transactions, or decisions, as well as to government research data used as basis for policy development shall be afforded the citizen, subject to such limitations as may be provided by law. SECTION 1. Coverage. —The policy covers data being generated by the Department of Labor and Employment and its attached agencies which are mostly administrative-based obtained from the operations of regional offices/units. These are considered public information.Administrative data generation is anchored on data requirements of the DOLE Statistical Performance Reporting System (SPRS).The policy also covers data from surveys and statistical researches produced by the Bureau of Labor and Employment Statistics (BLES) and those generated from similar statistical activities that may be conducted by other DOLE offices and its attached agencies.SECTION 2. Definition of Terms. —Data — a collection...
